Ground switching was done on the Healey's too....anyone want to discuss how
the horns are wired?...(and they are pretty high amp devices too.)

Ground switching is very common in modern cars and computer controlled
systems. One obvious application on many cars is the dome light. The switch
on the door jam is a single wire switch to the car body...provides the
"ground" for the lamp.
