Hi Paul,
Three things which can make a substantial difference to oil pressure and are
often ovelooked during a rebuild are cam bearings, timing chain tensioned
(it is oil fed), and rocker shaft. The rocker shaft alone can gobble up as
much as 10 p.s.i. if it is badly worn.
