Stealing Udo's idea of a removable front plate I mounted the plate on the
front with springs. The plate is mounted on a black rubbery frame easily found
on the side of any freeway. Carved the back side to match the front bumper
curve using a Dremmel tool and covered the springs with shrink fit to protect
the chrome. On and off is seconds.
On the rear I added a spring hing used to close household doors to allow for
curbs and dri;ve-ways as the plate hangs below and behind the rear bumper
(phase 1 BJ8).
