Jack -
If either the bearing or bearing mate-ring on the clutch cover comes
loose, you can get this symptom. If you step on the clutch a little,
the noise goes away, right?
If you start hearing a little rolling/clinking/tumbling noise coming
from the clutch when your foot is off the clutch, this is your
problem.
