[Healeys] Jump starting a pos. earth car using a neg. earth car

I've done the prerequisite searching and can't find any information on this
subject.  I'm thinking it can be done, but you must isolate the battery in
the neg. earth car before connecting pos. to pos. and neg. to neg. as
always.  Anybody know the proper procedure?
