Certainly-send me address information. The article I am going to copy Ron
on is in the April 2008 edition of Austin Healey Magazine so if you are a
member of the Austin Healey Club of America (or is it the Austin Healey Club
of the USA) you would have the full collection of about 15+ articles on
restoration. Join both if you haven't already-very reasonable price. Would
someone explain why we have 2 clubs? Why not merge?

Can I get that article, too? I'm going to be putting the doors on a BJ-8.
Thanks in advance,

Ron:
First off I want to welcome you to the list. I have gone back through all
my issues of Austin Healey Magazine and have found an article and would be
glad to mail that to you. Please reply to me with your address and I will
copy you ASAP if someone has not already done that. I am not an expert on
the fitting of these parts but can tell you that the one of the main points
of this article is to get the pressure/stress that is put on the body by
having the engine in and bearing on the axles correct before fitting. There
are several restoration experts that watch this list.
Regards,
Daniel A Stromquist

I am trying to get my doors back on my 100-6 with great difficulty. I heard
that the National news letter for the Austin Healey club had an article on
this subject around April. I have been unable to find that month or the
article. Does anyone have step buy step instructions or someone in
Minnesota that is knowledgeable on this subject? I am having issue with
the trunk lid as will. I am doing this restoration on a limited budget. If
I can get the door and the trunk lid to fit I will be able to get a paint
job that I can afford.
