Hi, Jeffrey -
Body, engine, gearbox and rear axle numbers. Unless they have changed their
policy, if you cannot provide your VIN/chassis number BMIHT will search for
the records using a body or engine number at an extra cost. They will not
search for a chassis number using only the gearbox or rear axle number, but
those numbers will be included on the certificate if found for your chassis
in their records.
