The car that is in the advert. ,located in Belgium was constructed in
Australia. The facts are mixed and can be confusing. The answere is not
original or fake. Alot depends on 'your' viewpoint. One thing is clear
it WAS NOT built by the Donald Healey Motor Company.LeMans race entry
and history is the clarifing information. THERE WAS ONLY EVER ONE
COMPLETE CHASSIS BUILT AND RACED BY HEALEYS. 1968 the car was BRG named
SR.37 had a formula one type Coventry Climax V.8 quad cam engine and
looked like the picture in the advert. 1969 the same chassis named SR.37
with Coventry Climax eng was entered and raced with slightly different
bodywork involving smaller rear radiator openings.See p.216 Bill
Emerson The Healey Book. Both these years saw little success and Healeys
were advised to make the car lighter and more powerful. Consquently the
roof, full windscreen (Lola T.70 ) and rear bodywork was removed to
lighten the car. A formula.1 style Repco Brabham engine was fitted. See
p.220 Bill Emerson,The Healey Book. I have seen both cars and know both
of the original owners
Wait for part
