My point wasn't that State Farm is good, but rather that if you're seeking
classic car insurance, you might first check with your own regular insurance
company if you can live with a stated value or fair market value settlement on
your Healey. Of course, the most important reason for having insurance isn't
to
protect the value of your Healey, it's to keep you out of court in the event
of damage or injury to someone else, and then it doesn't matter whether you
were driving an SUV or a Sprite.
