Thanks, Bill,

Richard and I both think it is the Tommy Bar half and I'll probably bid on it.

It looks easy to make a Tommy Bar, but I suppose trying to find the "driving"
half with the square coupling and a working spring-loaded ball will be a
life-long effort.

Regards.

Steve,

As Richard said, congratulations on securing a proper jack for your BN1.

The jack handle section on eBay should be a good start to complete the set.
For me it is hard to tell if it is a driving end with the 3/4 inch swollen end
and a spring loaded 1/4 inch ball. It might be the section that has a swollen
3/4 inch end with a hole for the tommy bar.

Normally, the driving section carries a sleeve unit that provides a socket for
connecting the second section. While that does not seem to visible on the
picture, it could mean the available piece is the tommy bar end, or that you
might have to add a sleeve piece to it. If you obtain the section, I suggest
that you wait until getting the other section before adding a sleeve.

It looks like handle is a proper, 14 inch long unit. Even if it is a longer
one, you can cut it down. So, no matter if it is one section of the other, it
would be good to snag it now so long as the price does not get out of hand.

One question to ask the seller is if it is the driving section, does the spring
loaded ball work.

Good luck,

Bill
