Hello Doug, BY removing the original cross brace fully and welding in the
later style which sits more forward does the trick,
Then you need to either weld in trapped nuts to receive the rubber/metal side
supports. I drilled the holes and used an expanding nut like a rivet.
You will also nee the correct threaded rod which prevents the tranny from
sliding into your radiator. The rod and bush kit are available as is the cross
piece.
The electrical is leave the extisting BN1 wire loom in place but connect the
centrifical switch leads together and isolate them, Good luck -William
BN1 with a BN2 gearbox
