with all due respect to you guys and your fuel measuring sticks, i'm going to 
continue using my SMITHS guage, filling up when it indicates approximately 
1/8th remaining.  this is usually 10 gallons or so on my replacement tank from 
Sports & Classics, circa '90 or '91.
