As I said I would be doing, I reported John's query to Moss. Reply IS as I
suspected it would be.
I would sincerely request that when a prob like John's pops up that you
include Moss Part # in the beginning of the "Subject:" as that is what Kelvin
also has requested.

This is the updated design of lock tab. The bevel must be towards the outside.
The nut is torqued down onto the washer. The corners of the nut may cut into
the bevel slightly, but this is not a problem. The bevel makes it easier to
grab the edge of the lock tab with channel locks and fold it against the side
of the nut.
The area of the bevel covering the recess machined into the pulley is then
hammered down into the recess locking the tab in place.
