Hello Noel,
to acquire the necessary leverage to operate the handbrake on the Girling
calipers you have to extend the arms on the original bell crank assembly, I
had a number of these cast up years ago but I think that they have all been
used up by now however it should be quite a simple operation for you
fellow's to fabricate something up.
>From memory I believe that they were extended about three quarters of one
inch [ just a little bit makes all the difference].
