I've tried both and I believe that this method and list is a little more
personal and "homey". The forum tends to be cold and impersonal. Just my
opinion.

In my opinion, forum threads quickly deteriorate with off topic replies.
One keeps checking the latest reply for something worthwhile but that
becomes a waste of time.
