The instructions that at least used to come with Hylomar say that it
can fill/bridge 0.01" gaps. I figure that if you put it on both sides
of a paper gasket that makes 0.02". If you need to fill larger gaps,
Hylomar won't do it, but 1/50" is pretty "big" as gaps go.
