I led a 100 mile classic car tour through some twisty back roads a week ago
and at the finish, which was a steep three mile down hill grade, my 100-Six's
transmission was a little hard to get out of 3rd gear. Had to pull firmly to
get it out.
Ever since, after the transmission gets warmed up after about five or so miles
of driving, it frequently shifts a little harder, and when moving the "shift
lever" back and forth in neutral it feels like it is binding a little near the
1st/2nd gear area. Before the shift lever would slip back and forth loosely
and easily.
Any ideas what has happened to my tranny? Thanks.
