Steve,
Tom is right I believe - that is the key - the oil
can/bottle must carry the additive by name, and the
VR1 does so the last time i looked.
Turns out you should not mix old technology with new
chemistry .....
I just did my first fire up about a month ago, and
intend to follow this additive advice. There have
been some exellent articles on the matter over the
last year, including in the mags.
