FWIW Our first Healey a '58 BN4 which was purchased new in June 1958 was OEW (Ivory White) and had Red interior with white piping. (You should not wear light colored slack or shorts as the leather dye surely does fade onto the fabrics. Makes for an unsightly pink seat.) Then our second Healey a '60 BT7 was also purchased new. It was Colorado Red and had Red interior with Black piping. (By this time we had learned not to wear those light colors.) Marion S. Brantley, Jr. Concours Committee Member |
