Given the high reserve for Fred Hunter's old 100S, it should be noted
that there are questions regarding it once being NOJ391. There were
positive reports that it was raced until wrecked in 1964 at a
Silverstone meeting while Fred's car was certainly in the states from
about 1956.
Now it has also come to light that there is a memo from the Healey
company listing both NOJ391 and 3804 as apparently separate cars. There
is another memo dated July 30, 1956 listing NOJ391 and racer 64(3804)
separately. These memo's are in Bill Emerson's book on pages 120 and
125.
