John, you can do it pretty easily, you have to remove the front of the guage
by twisting the front chrome cover until the slots in the guage line up with
the tabs on the chrome.
Then you remove the two screws that hold the "innards" of the guage in on
either side of the cable receptacle, take of the odo resetter extension,
then you have to kind of twist and move it around a little to get it out.
Once out you can turn the little roundy round things that have the numbers
on them by hand to zero.
And, as they say in the manuals re-assembly is the reverse of dismantling.
