Thanks Michael & Steve.
I did not know that.
But is there a dimension one can measure on the carrier itself to check if it
is the same as my old one, i.e. is the distance between each gear different
for each ratio, or is it just the gears that are different?
Not the best of explanations, but I hope you understand...
Tomas

Hi Tomas,
Steve is correct. The first 2 numbers indicate the overdrive ratio. They were
available in 22%, 25% 28%, and 32% ratios as far as I know.

Subject: Overdrive planet carrier
How can you tell if an overdrive planet carrier is a 22% or 28%? Is there any
difference?
Mine is damaged due to seized bearings on one of the planet gears and I want
to make sure I get the right one when I order a used carrier from UK.
Thanks,
Tomas
