Screw type caps and suppressor wires DO NOT work together at all. I went
through about three or four sets of supressor wire on my BJ8 until I figured
that out.
You can buy suppressor end caps, and I was able to find a set of original
Lucas suppressor end caps a few years ago.... the end caps are sufficient
enough to protect any vehicles around you from those evil solid core wires.
