There was apparently a time when grinding your own valves was practically
considered a roadside repair, given that a valve grinding tool was included in
the Healey toolkit.
Having undertaken an engine rebuild on my 100 on a far from unlimited budget I
am wondering if any of you handy guys or old timers, or guys that are cheap
like me have ever tried grinding your own valves, and were the results
satisfactory?
I have books that explain the technique, but any real world experience doing
it would be appreciated.
