Well I'm finally out of the sick bed and had a chance to check the master
cylinder today. It is Aluminum and 7/8" in diameter. From the advice on the
list that sounds to me like the correct part so I will try to bleed some
more air out of it and see if that helps. This will be the fourth time I
have bled it and right now there is essentially no peddle at all. If you
start the car in second with the peddle to the floor it will still creep
forward. Thanks for all the help. JL
