Good morning listers, The mechanic rebuilding the engine for my BN1 is having difficulty reinstalling the cam sprocket. The new timing chain tensioner is so "fat" that he cannot raise the sprocket far enough to line up its center hole with the end of the cam. We've found nothing addressing this problem in either the factory service manual or Norman Nock's book. Any advice from you all out there? Thanks! Sarah Carr BN1 in Pa. |
