The advantage of Australian indigenous species are that they have a low
centre of gravity.  You hit it and it goes "thataway".

In the US and Canada, when you hit a moose (or deer) you hit their legs and
(just like the cow catapult in the Holy Grail)... poof the thing flies up in
the air onto the hood and in through your windshield where you get crushed
to death by a moose's flatulent hind quarters.  An awful way to go.
