Clutch and or transmission problem

I went on a drive with the car club this Saturday and had a little problem
with the car.

1. Clutch was slipping whenever I tried to accelerate quickly.

2.  First gear had a loud vibration/rattle .

The transmission has been rebuilt and has a new NOS laygear, new first,
reverse, and all new bearings about 10000 miles ago.   The clutch and pressure
plate are also relatively new, with 5000 miles on them.

Looking for ideas.
