This past week I removed the rocker arm assembly and checked the push rods to see if any had been bent in last weeks fiasco. The engine roared to life smoothly, oil pressure jumped to 60# and I held the RPM at 2200 for 20 minutes. It ran with no vibration the whole time. As the engine heated up to 200 deg., the oil pressure dropped back to just above 40#. Only one minor oil leak at a plug on the left side of the engine. Boy what a relief!!!
