Hard to say for sure what's wrong, but check the easiest things first. Test
the switch for continuity when it is on with a multimeter, ir if you don't
have one touch the two wires that go to the switch together with the
ignition on (bypassing the switch) and see if things work (don't touch the
ends of the wires to anything metal on the car).
Also check the wiring to the motor, both under the dash and under the hood,
could be a problem with the switch or the bullet connectors. Check to see
if the bullet connectors are tight, pull the wires out and see if they are
clean inside.
Is easier and quicker than messing with the motor, if and only if you are
sure the motor is getting juice and not working would I pull the motor.
