hinges

one of the hinges on the battery cover on my bn6 was in bad shape so i ground
it off and got a replacement 2 inch hinge.  however, the american hinge is
smaller and the holes are different.  does anyone know where i can get one(or
a set) of the original hinges.  also, no on answered my plea for info on the
master cylinder of 5/8 bore.  what kind of healey did this come off of so i
can order the correct repair kit.  TIA  healeymanjim
