Don't underestimate the value of a REALLY good balance job when building the 
engine.  The fella that did my machining is probably the best that I know 
and his attention to detail always astounds me, especially when I see the 
front of the shop.  The balance job on my engine was done very well, and 
combine that with matching clearances across all main caps and all cylinders 
can make a huge difference.  I have never heard a smoother or more 
responsive big six than mine.  I was surprised at how smooth it was and the 
throttle response is WAY better than my Uncle's BJ8!  HA!
