Subject: | Rubber Boot Seal |

I purchased a rubber seal for the boot lid from a UK supplier and after installing it find that the bottom of the trunk lid does not fit flush with the shroud; it is raised about a quarter inch. The top of the lid fits very well. The sides fit well at the top and are off toward the bottom. Are there any tricks to shaving this rubber seal? I really don't want to rip it off and install a new seal as there is no guarantee it would fit any better. Thanks, Larry Swift |
