Don't even bother ro reply. This is an old scam and the more you get
involved the more problems there are. Typically the check is bad and it
comes back on your account after the car is gone. Just a waste of time to
even reply.
I've been attacked several times on ebay

Absolutely. --It smells REALLY bad. Tell them to show up with cash, then you
can talk. Why should you be their banker?
...If you manage to cash the bad cheque, then he gets a car, plus cash,
before
they come looking for you. Tell him to have his buddy cash the cheque, and
bring cash.

Guys, friends, realists,
My wife is selling her VW Polo and she received the email copied below. I
say its a scam. The car version of the Nigerian oil ministers widow
lineIll send you a zillion pounds if you send me a small sum to get
things moving The small sum vanishes and the zillion never shows.
