My jack process was not for an oil change but for doing some major work
under the car raising it high enough to get completely under which is not
necessary for an oil change for which I just use jack stands on the front
set at the lowest point.

Jack up the rear for an oil change? Why? Does the exhaust foul out on
the ground before clearance is made for the jack stands in front?
Haven't crossed this bridge with an assembled Healey yet. If this is the
case I think I will opt for the "Quicky Lube" , get in , get out. Thats an
awful lot of jackin off for me just for an oil change.
I'm sure there's going to be plenty of other more interesting challenges
when the time comes.
