Is anyone attending the 8th Annual Lake Erie British Car Club Show, "The
British Return to Fort Meigs"? This Sunday, June 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This is near Toledo, Ohio and is at Ft. Meigs State Memorial historical
site, 29100 West River Road (Route 65) Perrysburg, OH. Just North of the
I-75 & I-475 junction.
$12 pre-registration; $15 day of show. Dash plaques, goodie bags, door
prizes, silent auction, and popular vote awards in each class.
I understand that a Healey Club from Southwestern Ohio will be there.
This will be the first club event for my '61 BN7 that had been in
storage since 1983.
Let me know if you will be there.

The Site - Built in 1813 to defend the Ohio Country against British
invasion, Fort Meigs constitutes the largest wooden walled fortification
in North America. Today the fort stands rebuilt on its original location
within a 65 acre wooded park. The ten acre fort is enclosed by a
stockade wall and contains seven blockhouses, five cannon batteries, and
numerous interior eight foot high earthworks.
