Hood repair???

I just talked to my body shop guy and he says that the warping on my hood 
from the engine fire might not be repairable and said that they would try to 
replace it with an after market one or off another car.  As far as I know 
the car is all original and I would like to keep it that way if possible.  
Has anyone done a simialar repair or could suggest somewhere/someone to get 
it fixed correctly?
