Restored AH 3000

  I went to the last Barrett Jackson auction and now I have the bug.   
Long ago I had a 1960 AH 3000 so I though I might like to get  
another.  I have found one but it has fiber glass front fenders.  The  
owner was very upfront about it.  My question is how much does this  
affect the value of the car.  I don't want to seriously over pay for  
my first purchase.  How difficult would it be to resell if I decide  
to up grade etc.
