I have one tappet that is badly pitted on the bottom. My machinist says that probably means I will have to have some work done on the camshaft. He will measure the cam this week and let me know. I have heard several terms in connections with camshafts: resurface, reprofile, and regrind. Are these all different words for the same process? Could you recommend someone who knows Austin-Healeys?
