Did you ask your agent if the policy they had written was "agreed value" --
using exactly those words? Most regular insurance companies, (and USAA may be
one of these) only offer "stated value" and "market Value" coverage which are
often very problematical with classic cars, leading to endless negotiation
AFTER the accident, with the owner and company differing as to the actual value
of
the car.
If USAA is not giving you "agreed value" coverage, where the value is agreed
upon before the claim, rather than after, then check with the other classic
car insurance companies. Different companies have different requirements to
qualify for coverage.
