I'm replacing the front bearing in my generator......
The old bearing has open sides, visible ball bearings, and visible added
lubricant --grease.
The new replacement bearing has black inserts in the sides, and no apparent
way to grease the internals. --I'm assuming this is a "sealed bearing" and
requires no additional lubricant of any kind? But I've learned not to assume
anything....
I've replaced a lot of old grease in the palm, greasy bearings, -but am not
sure what sealed ones look like.
