Hi Reid I believe Donald was a Corporal in the RFC in the first war, having gained his Wings in 1916. In the second war, he was a part-time Squadron Leader in the RAF's Air Training Corps. Meanwhile he was Works Manager of one of the former Triumph factories sold to the Air Ministry, which was now making Claudel-Hobson aero carburetters. Later in the war he was with the Humber Car Company's Fighting Vehicles branch. Best regards Peter |
