Thank you folks for responding to my overdrive question. My problem was
a product of my not understanding the purpose of the throttle switch in
the circuit. I always thought the throttle switch was there to prevent
one from lugging the car when in overdrive but now that I understand
that the switch is there to prevent the car from dropping out of
overdrive the circuit makes perfect sense.a minor adjustment to the
switch was all that was needed.
This is the first time I have ever had a Healey with a working
throttle switch and it will take some getting used to. Does anyone know
how the works race cars were set up. Did they bypass the throttle
switch or leave it in the overdrive circuit
