It can -- to be picky, it tends to move the wear pattern outward from
where it would be with optimum toe -- but before setting toe, be sure
you don't have too much positive camber (tops of wheels further out than
the bottoms). You can get a rough idea of your front camber by sighting
along the front tire to the back (the MGA has approximately zero camber
on the back).
