Question on Anodizing

I took the cockpit trim from my BT7 to a local metal finisher that I've had
good results with in the past.  He called today to say there was no anodizing
on the parts I dropped off and they had them all polished up for me.  He said
there were a couple types of clear anodizing...one that is regular clear and
one that is not a high shine.  Which is the correct type to use?  Looking at
the archives it looks like the regular clear.
