And, they are very good at tracing back to the source -- ie the typical that
X person said this at y venue or "as published in xyz medical journal". They
will ferret out the real quote and cite their source which can be verified.
I take these a step further and when I find that they are incorrect, I blast
a response back to the originator and all of his cc's. Doubt if it stops
them or does any good but it does give me some satisfaction.
I class most, if not all of these emails in the came category as the ones in
which I have won the UK lottery, have a foreign national ready to give me a
bizzilion dollars if I give him my bank account number, etc.
