Listers,
BN2s and early 3000s were supplied with Shelley LJ21 or King Dick B 1881
jacks. The jack handle sections couple by inserting the section that had an
enlarged head for a tommy bar into a sleeve that was part of the second
section.
Would anyone have the dimensions or a drawing or could describe the
characteristics of the metal coupling sleeve that connects the jack handle
halves.
It seems as if the sleeve has at least one side with hole to capture the
spring loaded retaining ball of the other section. Perhaps the hole goes
through
the opposite side too.
How does that sleeve attach to the section? Should that sleeve be spot
welded or crimped or ??
Any and all information would be appreciated.
I am a digest user, so please allow for delays.
Best Regards,
Bill
