What is the best way to remove one thousands from a thrust washer? This is an MG laygear washer that is grooved and polished on both sides. Doesn't look like the all copper thrust washers in our healeys. Is sand paper or a file enough to take this down evenly? If so what would the process be? I don't have a bench grinder or belt sander. Thanks, Mark |
