Ned, You need the "ring snaps" with the black ring w/ 3 prongs which
push thru the carpet & pad and bend over retaining the the female component
of the snap which then snaps onto the male snap on the floor which is
fastened with a countersunk sheet metal screw thru the floor. Get a copy of
the Parts List which will show you how many and where they go. This will
also show you the snaps for the gearbox cover. You'll need to make
adjustments for the additional thickness of the mat you added. Richard
