His name is John Heffron. The last couple of my e-mails to him (some time
ago) went unanswered. I'm not even sure he's still maintaining a Golden
Beige registry. Someone was trying to get in touch with John recently, but
I never heard if they were successful.

There is (was) a Metallic Golden Beige Registry. I can't remember the name
of the fellow that was compiling it, but I met him once at Encounter. He
owns a MGB car and I registered my MGB BJ8 with him. I believe it was
Encounter 2002 in Princeton. There were three original MGB cars at that
event, and I have several photos of all of them together. As usual, no two
shades exactly alike.
If you remember who he is, perhaps he can shed some light on the subject.
